Dear friends,

I have developed an android application by using the dcm4che lib. I just used the dcm4che lib for parsing only. It helped me a lot. Many thanks to the dcm4che group for making me it as an freely available library.

My Android DICOM Viewer worked in my Acer tab too (HoneyComb as OS). I didn?t find any problem in it. I displayed CT (grayscale) and US (multi-frame too) images in my android app by parsing using dcm4che.

I used the following jars only.

1. dcm4che-core-2.0.25
2. log4j-1.2.16
3. slf4j-api-1.6.1
4. slf4j-log4j12-1.6.1

Now I am going to host the application in the Android market. Could somebody tell me the formalities for that? I think I can use the library since it is under GPL. Please give me your comments on it.

regards
Shihab

Hi shihabkb,

How are you?

I was wondering if your software is released under a free software or open source license.

All the best,

Hi, looks great,
Is the only android app that support compresed images i ve seen so far.
Haven t tested jp2000.
But is not so usefull if you need to copy images to sd first...

It would be great beeing able to conect to sever via dicom or to behave as a wado client...

Can it manage dcm encapsulated videos to?

Keep working,, congratulations...
